ABOUT THE COMEDIANS

Headliner Lace Larrabee
Lace is an Atlanta-based actor, host and nationally touring stand-up comedian who can be seen at clubs from coast to coast. Festival credits include; the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival (2017 semi-finalist), the She Devil Comedy Festival, the Laugh Your Asheville Off Comedy Festival and the She Dot Festival in Toronto. From stage to screen, Lace’s comedy has been featured on VICELAND’S FLOPHOUSE and she is a FOX network favorite, regularly appearing on their tv shows: LAUGHS, DISH NATION and FOX’s newest comedy gameshow, PUNCHLINE.

AND THE YOUNG GUNS OF COMEDY

Joel Byars
For Joel, stand up comedy is an outlet to examine the fine print of life and he will continue to provide authentic entertainment until deemed illegal. Growing up in a house of educators, Joel has combined his passion for educating and entertaining by hosting his award winning Hot Breath! Podcast, teaching a weekly comedy class and co-authoring “The Comic’s Playbook” with MIT alum Dr. Robert Joseph. All of Joel’s professional endeavors are designed to help people discover their creative process.

Joel’s inspirational story has been featured in publications ranging from Atlanta Magazine, VoyageATL, Creative Loafing’s “Best of Atlanta,” ATL Eats and being selected as “Morning Person of the Day” by international creative community Creative Mornings. Some of his accolades also include writing for Comedy Central’s Roast Battle at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and being crowned the National Champion of Search For The One Comedy Competition.

David Perdue
David is an Atlanta based comedian who has appeared on Kevin Hart Presents: “Hart of the City” on Comedy Central, and “Uproarious” on Fuse TV. In 2016 he was the Laughing Skull Festival’s “Set List Tournament Champion”. He co-hosts a hilarious sports/comedy podcast called Forth and Ten hosted on Forth District.com, as well as a co-producer for the Atlanta favorite 1AM Secret Show. In 2017 David was selected to perform at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Laugh Your Asheville Comedy Festival, Accidental Comedy Festival & Red Clay Comedy Festival. He was selected by Creative Loafing as one of Atlanta’s “People to Watch” in 2017 as well as featured on Comedy Hype.com as one of the Atlanta’s rising comedians. What does all this mean, quite simply that a handful of people outside of his mama think that he’s funny. (His mama doesn’t think he’s funny)

Jim Dancy
Dancy is the funniest comedian in America, if you listen to his grandmother. If you want to hear jokes about the tragedy of being single, not having kids and loving it, or the joys of going on terrible dates, then sit back and catch huge laughs with one of Atlanta’s funniest comedians. You can catch Mr. Dancy touring many colleges and comedy clubs throughout the year all over the country.

With host Katie Causey
Katie Causey is an actor and comedian living in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated from the University of Georgia (with two degrees she’s currently not using) and was a member of the first ever Apprenticeship Company at the Aurora Theatre. Since completing the Apprenticeship Katie has immersed herself in Atlanta’s ever growing film industry working with Burger King, the PGA, and Coca-Cola for a variety of commercials. Katie’s main passion, however, is comedy. Whether she is performing stand-up, improvising with the group, BANSHEE Improv, or acting, Katie loves making people laugh. When performing stand-up, Katie enjoys making current events as silly as possible and sharing stories from her time growing up in middle Georgia.
