Winner of four Tony awards, Camelot was the very first production in Aurora’s home on the square in downtown Lawrenceville in 2007. On the eve of our 20th Anniversary Season it is the perfect choice for this year’s Prelude. Camelot is the legend of King Arthur set to music with such mastery that Richard Burton, Richard Harris and Robert Goulet are just a few of the theatrical legends to star in this Broadway classic. Aurora’s own, Anthony Rodriguez will reprise the role of King Arthur for this one-night-only theatrical event followed by fireworks.
Free to the public, Lawrenceville’s PRELUDE event will be held on the Lawrenceville Lawn at 210 Luckie Street. Bring the whole family and a picnic dinner to enjoy during the show. Lawn seating begins at 5:00pm for the 7:00pm performance. Reserve a table of VIP seating for 6, only $100 before June 26th, then $125 until July 3rd.
Libations from McCray’s Tavern and food trucks parked around the Lawn with a variety of cuisine offerings will be available.
