Aurora Swing Nights featuring the Metro Jazz Club
From the Big Band Era to the Funk and Rock of the 70s and 80s, join us for Aurora Swing Nights Rock, Roll & Remember. This special edition of the popular concert series will feature the Metro Jazz Club, a smokin’-hot 17 piece band performing a memorable array of rock ‘n roll songs.
Your hostess for the evening will be the incomparable Ann-Carol Pence, Aurora Theatre Associate Producer and Resident Musical Director. Dedicated to the preservation of some of the best music ever composed, Metro Jazz Club is led by jazz sax man Gary Dalton. Metro Jazz Club has two amazing vocalists, velvety crooner Jason Joines and zesty diva Amanda Richards.
Michael Stiggers, who recently appeared in Aurora’s hit musical for children Petite Rouge, and who can be seen playing Marius in next season’s opener Les Misérables, is sure to rock the show with his dynamic vocals.
