Artist-To-Artist Dance Workshop: Color Purple

Celebrity Comedian: Henry Cho

Locals & Legends: Jazz Concert

The “Locals and Legends Jazz Series” is an exciting collaboration that brings together A-list professional musicians from the Atlanta area with a selected legendary jazz musician who is brought in for the performance.

For this concert, the legendary guest is the multiple-award-winning jazz clarinetist Ken Peplowski, an ultra-entertaining jazz icon known for his performances with renowned artists such as Benny Goodman, Rosemary Clooney, and Madonna. Joining him are local talents, vocalist Karla Harris and pianist Joe Alterman, promising an unforgettable evening of exceptional jazz music.

King of Pangea

As part of Aurora’s New Musical Initiative, this heartfelt folk-rock musical is inspired by the real- life story of its creator, Martin Storrow. When a sudden loss shatters the world of college student Christopher Crow, he travels back to his imaginary childhood island of Pangea, in hopes of finding answers that will put the broken pieces back together. Like the whimsy and suspense of The Wizard of Oz, Chris’ family transforms into the fantastical characters on his island. A breakout hit with audiences at the National Alliance for Musical Theatre New Musical Festival.
