What does General Admission mean?
Your ticket allows you entrance into the The Biergarten at Ironshield, which is a large outdoor space without designated seating.

A few picnic tables are available on a first-come first-served basis. If you would like to ensure you don’t have to stand the entire show, we encourage you to bring a camp chair. Appropriate social distance will be enforced by our staff.

How will you keep things safe and sanitized?
The health and safety of our patrons, staff, and artists are foremost in our planning of Aurora Comedy Under the Stars. In addition to fully-outside seating, all staff will be fully masked during the event.

Additional safety precautions:

  • Touchless transaction – advanced ticket purchase only.
  • Hand sanitizer will be readily available.
  • We are all in this together – please wear a mask when not eating or drinking.

An Atlanta native, Mark has spent his entire life in the South. However, he is NOT what you might expect to see when you hear the words “Southern Comic”. Not only is his comedy hilarious, it’s smart, to the point, and cutting-edge clean. In fact, his “Southern, Not Stupid!” show has been taking audiences by storm from coast to coast, on land and at sea.

Mark will allow you to see the lighter side of the dumb things that happen all around you every day. Two things you might take from his show are that you don’t have to be dirty to be funny, and that having a Southern accent does not mean you are stupid. You can’t pinpoint stupidity to any one region or group; it’s universal. His examples of widespread stupidity have left his audiences doubled over with laughter, and hopefully a little wiser, too. After all, Mark’s goal is to educate as well as entertain!

Nathan Owens is a stand up comedian from Atlanta that has traveled all over the country spreading weird awkward humor for almost a decade.  He hosts the podcast called Forth and Ten that tackles the weirdest sports topic of the week.

Katherine is a Golden Retriever in human form and also a comedian. She’s shared the stage with the likes of Jeff Foxworthy, Ron White, and Ms. Pat– none of whom are allergic to dogs, thank goodness!

After graduating from The University of South Carolina, Katherine never imagined she’d be a full-time comedian and part-time nanny, but here we are! On stage, she shares the true confessions of a “Pediatric Waste Management Specialist” (sounds better than nanny, right?) and also her war stories from the front lines of brunch: some days she’s holding your hair, others she’s changing your diaper… some days both!

Katherine has appeared at comedy festivals across the country, including the 10,000 Laughs Festival and the prestigious Laughing Skull Comedy Festival. In these pandemic days, you can catch her co-hosting the podcast Cheaties with fellow comic Lace Larrabee. The spicy podcast features stories of cheating from both sides of the aisle. Past guests include: Mia Jackson, Jared Freid and Dulce Sloan. The podcast was recently ranked in Podcast Magazine’s Hot 50 and continues to climb the charts.
