Top Atlanta professional dance company, Dance Canvas, is performing outside the perimeter for the very first time with their Lawrenceville Arts Center Debut. Enjoy their acclaimed 2022 Performance Series encore weekend that will bring a diverse mix of new choreographic works to the stage, exploring the bridges between movement and life experiences. The show highlights the work of selected professional choreographers, with a vibrant cast of over 40 professional dancers.
Audiences will enjoy a wide-ranging program with ballet, contemporary, hip hop and The Tap Rebels, one of the only professional tap companies in the world. It will be The Tap Rebels first performance on home soil after representing the United States at the World Expo 2022 in Dubai.

Dance Canvas has a vision of diversifying the artistic voices being presented in professional dance, growing opportunities for artists in the region, and attracting new audiences.
Vaccinated patrons use of face masks is optional.
- Unvaccinated patrons are strongly encouraged to wear masks.
- Anyone exhibiting any signs of coronavirus, including but not limited to cough, fatigue, headache, excessive sneezing or elevated temperature, are asked to stay home.
- Hand sanitizer will be readily available.
- HVAC Upgrades including the addition of 20 ionization units and outside air intake was increased on the 17 existing RTU’s to provide cleaner, fresher air.
We believe that maintaining the health and safety of our community, including our staff, artists and patrons, shouldn’t be a matter of debate or political preference. To that end, we ask everyone in our community to respect these policies.
