Join us for I’m Here: Cabaret & Conversation with Amitria Fanae, a powerful evening dedicated to resilience and healing. Fresh off her stunning portrayal of Celie in The Color Purple, Amitria brings her talent to the stage in an intimate cabaret performance. 

Meet Amitria:

I’m Here! Amitria is thrilled to return to Aurora Theater after playing Celie in the Color Purple! In 2018 she was Awarded Best Actress in a Musical from Broadway World for Celie in The Color Purple at Theatre West End. In 2022 she also received the Suzi Bass Nomination for her portrayal of Rosetta Tharpe in Marie & Rosetta a 2021 production at True Colors Theatre. Other Theatrical credits include: Dream Girls, Ain’t Misbehavin, Little Shop Of Horrors, Godspell, Beehive, Smokey Joe’s Café, and Shrek. Amitria has also performed in Walt Disney’s The Festival Of the Lion King as Zawadi and Universal Studios Diagon Alley as Celestina Warbeck.
