Louis, Max, and Sonny are charming, young and eligible bachelors looking to marry their way from rags to riches. This romantic romp is full of dreams, schemes and lavish musical numbers set in the golden age mecca of Manhattan in the 1950’s, with a twist. It’s an alternative gleaming, fabulous and mighty Big Apple. And two of our leading men are looking for husbands, oh my!

Bill Nelson Bill Nelson (Bookwriter/Lyricist) hails from New York City. Among his theatrical works is the award-winning Harmony, Kansas, written with Anna K. JacobsBill's works have been seen across the country, and his songs have been presented around the world, including at Lincoln Center's Broadway's Future Songbook: Bill Nelson and Bill Nelson's Nutcrackin' Christmas. William Finn conceived and directed Bill Nelson's All-Male Revue for Barrington Stages. Men with Money, written with Joseph Trefler, has been presented in concert at Lincoln Center. Originally from the Midwest, Bill co-founded a theatre company in Kansas City. He received an M.F.A. in Musical Theatre Writing at NYU-Tisch and is a Dramatists Guild Foundation fellow and member of the Advanced BMI Workshop. He's a teaching artist for the Dramatists Guild Foundation and a freelance script consultant. 

Joseph Trefler (Composer) is a New York-based composer-lyricist, arranger, and music copyist originally from Toronto, Canada. He has received his Bachelor of Music from the University of Toronto and his MFA from the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program, Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. In 2017, he taught musical theatre writing at Sheridan College's M.A.S.S.I.V.E. (Music Applied to Stage, Screen, and Interactive Visual Elements) program. Joseph has written a number of musicals, including the short film musical Lady Late Nite (LA Femme International Film Festival 2010; Women’s International Film Festival 2011; Ouat Media, distributor), A Ladylike Murder (Isabel Bader Theatre 2012)The Unusual Engagement of Chester Pringle with Jonathan Pearson (“Best Short Musical” 2014 Fresh Fruit Festival), and The Bad Ideas of Jack Andrews with bookwriter-lyricist Seth Christenfeld (NAAP DISCOVER: New Musicals 2017). He composed the score for The Music Box, a short dance film shown on Air Canada flights. He is a winner of the 2015 NMI New Voices Project (sponsored by Walt Disney Imagineering Creative Entertainment). In 2016, a concert of Joseph’s songs was performed as part of Lincoln Center’s Broadway's Future Songbook series.
