CHUNKY SOUNDS presents

No Moon by Gauthier

Apr 19, 2019

GAUTHIER - a band formed by Multi-instrumentalist "CHUNKY." Last year the band released an album Titled ' NO MOON ' where each song is an audio journey through the ups and downs of being in a relationship.

'NO MOON' came from the idea of one day the moon disappearing from our existence and learning if us as humans will be able to continue life without it. In CHUNKY’S case, the moon metaphorically pertains to when a person who was once an important part of our daily lives due to certain circumstances is no longer there.

Join GAUTHIER April the 19th as he brings this album to life using visual projection and live music played by musicians of a great caliber. The show will begin at 8 pm with an opening set by Atlanta based Vocalist/Musician 'joeltheEagle' and ending the night with a full hour set by GAUTHIER.

Born in Buffalo, New York, parents from Puerto Rico. Luis A. Gonzalez also known as “Chunky” began playing percussion at the tender age of four.

By the age of seven he was playing the drums, an instrument he fell in love with and has not stopped since. At the age of ten he began traveling as a professional musician with his father’s group and got his first taste of life on the road; a path he’d look to continue on for the following years.

A decision in his teenage years to move out of Buffalo with his parents landed him in Atlanta, Georgia, city where he is currently writing/producing music for different genres and playing full time with a number of bands and artists including his band Gauthier.

Comes from a bloodline of well achieved musicians.

Chunky, who is also the youngest out of five siblings, always thanks his God Almighty for blessing him with a pure soul and a conscious heart, qualities he believes to be instrumental in allowing him to develop as a world-class musician and a positive person eager to keep evolving. This mindset will continue to take him far in his quest to have the music he creates become part of the daily lives of people all over the world.
