Disney’s Moana Jr. ($625*)
Musical Theatre, Grades 3–12
 M-F, June 1-19, 10:30am–4:00pm
Performances on Friday, June 19 & Saturday, June 20

Aurora Theatre Academy is producing it’s eighth summer musical with Disney’s Moana Jr!
No one knows how far you’ll go if you’re a student enrolled in this camp…we do know you’ll study acting, singing, and dancing while you rehearse for three weeks. Then, you’ll get five chances to perform on our Mainstage: Friday, June 19 at 11:30am, 2:00pm, & 4:00pm and Saturday, June 20 at 11:30pm & 2:00pm.

Students are taught and directed by some of Atlanta’s finest professionals and are divided into age groups for their classes but perform the show together.

 

 

 


Heroes and Villains ($300*)
Acting, Grades K-5
Grades K-2: June 22–26, 10:30am – 4:00pm
Grades 3-5: June 22–26, 10:30am – 4:00pm

Classic fairy tales provide the material in this one-week camp. Students will learn what it takes to put on a performance, while instilling self-confidence and teambuilding. Full-day sessions will have kids creating sets, costumes and props for the productions leading up to their final mainstage performances to loved ones at the end of the week!


Disneymania ($300*)
Musical Theatre, Grades 1–5
June 29-July 3, 10:30am-4pm

Students will explore hits from Disney favorites like Moana, The Lion King, Cinderella, and more to perform in a showcase at the end of the week for friends and family!


The Cinderella Bootcamp ($300)
Musical Theatre, Grades 4–8
June 29–July 3
10:30am–4:00pm

A one-week musical theatre bootcamp inspired by Aurora’s Production of Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella!  Students will learn music from classic Musicals like Oklahoma, Cinderella,  and Hello Dolly! 


Mejores Amigos Bilingual Camp ($300*)
Acting, Grades 1-5
July 6–10, 10:30am – 4pm

This production class will provide students valuable stage experience, while encouraging teamwork and collaboration among peers. In these full-day sessions, students will be active participants in character creation for these enriching productions of fairy tales from Hispanic culture presented to family and friends at the end of the week!


Esta clase de producción no solo proporcionará a los estudiantes con valiosa experiencia en el escenario sino que a la vez fomentará el trabajo en equipo y la colaboración entre compañeros. Esta experiencia infunde en nuestros estudiantes un gran sentido de confianza en sí mismos. En estas sesiones de día completo, los estudiantes participaran activamente en la creación de personajes para una emocionante producción de cuentos provenientes de la cultura hispana para luego ser presentada a sus familiares y amistades!


Magic and Mischief ($300*)
Acting, Grades K–5
Grades K-2: July 13-17, 10:30am – 4:00pm
Grades 3-5: July 13-17, 10:30am – 4:00pm

Ready to put on your best robes? The Wizard World of Harry Potter provides the inspiration for this week-long camp. Students will learn what it takes to put on a performance, while instilling self-confidence and teambuilding. Full-day sessions will have kids creating sets, costumes and props for the productions leading up to their final mainstage performances to loved ones at the end of the week!

 


Shakespearean Takedown: Battle Acts! ($300*)
Acting, Grades 6–12
June 22 – 26, 10:30am – 4pm

This week-long camp explores the craft of acting through various styles: Stanislavski, Shakespeare, stage combat, improvisation and more! The camp culminates with a showcase of Shakespeare’s best fight scenes in the Studio Theatre for friends and family to enjoy!

The Lin-Manuel Experience ($500*)
Musical Theatre, Grades 6–12
July 6 – 17, 10:30am – 4pm

In this two-week intensive, students will learn and perform Broadway hits from popular composer Lin-Manuel Miranda, famous for his work on Hamilton, In The Heights, Moana and more. Students will sing, dance and act their way through some of Miranda’s most prolific work. We want to see you in the room when this camp happens!

Aurora offers students both financial need and talent-based scholarship opportunities. Through the continued support of Scott Hudgens Family Foundation, Kiwanis Club of Suwanee, and other generous groups, Aurora Theatre Academy is able to offer students the valuable experience of honing their craft with seasoned professionals.

NOTE: Applying for a scholarship does not reserve your student’s place in a class. Please call the Box Office to put down a deposit if you would like to hold your student’s spot.

*There is a one time New Student Registration Fee of $25, if applicable. A discount is available for families with multiple students.
