Petite Players: Inside Out ($150*) – SOLD OUT
Acting, 3–5 Year Olds

Saturdays, Feb 1–Mar 7, 10:15–11:15am

In this 6-week class students will be introduced to a new book about feelings and emotions each week. Using play, arts and crafts, and creative drama, students bring the world of the book to life. This is a closed class (there’s no parent observation), however, parents will be invited to participate during our final class.

 

LET’S EXPLORE: Matilda ($200*) – SOLD OUT
Musical Theatre Grades 1–5 
Mondays, Jan 27–Mar 16, 4:30–6pm

In this 8-week Musical Theatre Class students in 1st-5th grades will have the opportunity to explore a selection of songs from their favorite musicals. This semester class will focus on 3 pieces from Matilda, The Musical. Students will learn to tell a story through a song, and at the end of this session there will be a showcase for family and friends.


LET’S EXPLORE: The Cat in the Hat ($200*)
Acting Grades 1–3 
Tuesdays, Jan 28–Mar 17, 4:30–6pm 

In this 8-week class, students will dive into the world of the beloved Dr. Seuss’ The Cat in the Hat. Utilizing introductory theatre skills (listening, responding, projection and characterization), students will bring this timeless world to life. There will be a showcase of their work at the end of the session.


LET’S EXPLORE: Narnia ($200)
Acting Grades 4–5 
Tuesdays, Jan 28–Mar 17, 4:30–6:30pm 

Inspired by the C.S. Lewis classic The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, in this 8-week course students and teaching artists will work together to create an original piece that they will share with family and friends at the end of their session.

 

 

 

Broadway Blockbusters ($200)
Musical Theatre Grades 6–12
Thursdays, Jan 23–Mar 12, 4:30–6:30pm

Students will work with a music director and choreographer to seamlessly combine healthy vocal production with dance combinations and storytelling.  All 3 skills will be challenged as they work on musical numbers from contemporary Broadway shows. Class culminates with a showcase performance for family and friends.


Scene Study: The Giver ($200)
Acting Grades 6–8 
Mondays, Jan 27–Mar 16, 5:30–7:30 pm 

In this acting class, students will focus on scenes and monologues from a script appropriate for Middle School aged actors. These scripts will vary between classics and contemporary pieces. This class is intended for the Middle school student who is looking to learn more about the art of acting.

5th grade students who are interested in a more rigorous curriculum are welcome to audition to be considered for this course.

SCENE STUDY: The Curious Incident ($200)
Acting Grades 9–12
Wednesdays, Jan 22–Mar 11, 5:30–7:30pm

In this acting class, students will focus on scenes and monologues from a script appropriate for high school aged actors. These scripts will vary between classics and contemporary pieces. This class is intended for the high school student who is looking to really hone their craft.

This semester we will focus on the play The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Simon Stephens. This play is also featured in our Mainstage season and students will get to meet the cast. 

Middle school students who are interested in a more rigorous curriculum are welcome to audition to be considered for this course.
