Aurora Theatre has been hosting the best local and national comedians since opening our new location in 2007. Aurora Comedy Nights is hosted by bright young comedienne Katie Causey. Katie is a member of multiple improv and sketch comedy groups in Athens and in Atlanta. She is a recent UGA grad and an alumnus of the very first Aurora Theatre Apprentice Company.

About the Comedians
Dulcé Sloan is a trained actor and has been doing stand up for five years. She can be seen at rooms and clubs all over including The Laughing Skull Lounge, The Atlanta Improv, Alchemy Tavern and the Vaudeville Cafe. dulcesloan.com
Deborah is a southern liberal feminist mother born on April Fools’ Day. Her mother was an English teacher and her father a redneck. So she spent a lot of time listening to NPR while watching her dad fix the car on blocks. She had to leave her hometown since there was only Walmart, church, and bacon. Her allergies are ragweed and political correctness. Anxiety medication keeps her trim. And in terms of religion, she believes in Fried Chicken and Yo-Yo Ma. Red is her favorite color. And she likes to laugh and drink whiskey. deborahcolecomedy.com
Cherith Fuller is a Leo with a Scorpio moon (Sagittarius Rising) and has literally no idea what she’s doing. She just graduated from film school and has moved back in with her parents. Please don’t ask her what the “next step” is because she doesn’t know and is too busy worrying about her “web presence” to care. @CherithFuller
Karen Hilton began performing stand-up at Relapse Theater in 2007. Born in Savannah and raised in Tennessee, Karen was sheltered from things that were cool (sorry, Tennessee). Her first stage performance was a production of Peter Pan with her kindergarten class. The class was supposed to sing a song together. Three lines into the song, Karen ran off stage to her mother’s arms where she cried and threw up.
Caroline is a stand-up comedian from Athens, Georgia who’s been biting her nails for the past 15 years. When she’s not doing comedy, you can probably find her worrying about something.
Host Katie Causey is a comedian and a two-time national competitor at the Chicago Improv Festival’s College Improv Tournament. She’s been a part of multiple improv troupes in Athens and in Atlanta as well as various sketch groups. Whether it’s stand up, improvising, sketch or stage acting, Katie likes to make people laugh. katiecausey.com
