LGBT COMEDY NIGHT
Friday & Saturday, May 27 & 28, 2016
7:15 & 9:15pm
Aurora Theatre has been hosting the best local and national comedians since opening our new location in 2007. Aurora Comedy Nights is hosted by bright young comedienne Katie Causey. Katie is a member of multiple improv and sketch comedy groups in Athens and in Atlanta. She is a recent UGA grad and an alumnus of the very first Aurora Theatre Apprentice Company.
ABOUT THE COMEDIANS:
Comedian Julie Osborne born in Cocoa, Florida comes from a very diverse background . She started performing stand-up comedy in 2011. However, she has been using her wit and humor to “deal” with prison inmates and crazy people in corporate America. In 2012 she started hosting comedy shows for the LGBTQ community creating opportunites for other like-minded comedians.
Sue is a NJ native who grew up in a strong and very funny Italian family. Bold and brash, her views on middle age, technology and being very, very Italian will keep you laughing long after the show.
Bob Killough was a staple on the Atlanta radio scene in the 90’s and early 2000’s as “The Queen”. He started doing stand-up after his filthy humor caused the collapse of both of these stations. He performs an adult set that has republicans trying to ban him from public bathrooms in several southern cities. He has shared the stage with Margaret Cho and Scott Thompson from Kids in the Hall. He hopes you take his act as it is intended, to make you soil your clothes.
Andrew has been performing for the past six years in Atlanta. He was the resident comedian at The Laughing Skull Lounge in the Spring of 2013. He’s opened for national touring headliners such as Margaret Cho, Greg Proops, Todd Glass, Duncan Trussell and Mary Lynn Rajskub. He cohosts a show at the Drunken Unicorn called Surprise: Crowd Work! the last Wednesday of every month. You can also catch him at various shows around Atlanta weekly. You can follow him on social media at: Twitter & Instagram: @Originalmarkle Facebook: /theoriginalmarkle
A legend in his own mind, Mark hails from Los Angeles, Cali-for-nye-ay, where he performed stand up and studied improv with the famous Groundlings company. A former graphic designer with Aurora Theatre, he’s happy to be back at this second LGBT Comedy Night.
