We couldn’t keep him away! Anthony Rodriguez is back to delight audiences with an exhilarating one-man adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. As though Mr. Dickens has personally invited you into his parlor, Anthony guides you through the traditional tale of Mr. Scrooge and single-handedly portrays all of the beloved Dickens characters. At its heart, this rendition captures the true spirit of Christmas–the joy of giving.

How will you keep social distance indoors?

We are opening our Mainstage to 75 audience members for each performance. 70% of our seating will be unavailable to ensure we can keep adequate social distance and provide air circulation for our audience and our solo performer, Anthony.

Will I be able to choose my seats?

No, seating for A Christmas Carol will be general admission. To keep social distancing and safety measures in place, we will seat you where we can best accommodate your party.

Will concessions be available?

Yes, in a limited capacity.

How will you keep things safe and sanitized?
The health and safety of our patrons, staff, and artists are foremost in our planning of A Christmas Carol:

  • A mask and temperature check is required to enter the building.
  • Touchless transaction – advanced ticket purchase only.
  • Hand sanitizer will be readily available.
  • Theatre will be disinfected before patrons are seated and immediately after each performance.
  • Holtkamp Heating & Air Conditioner has adjusted air intakes on the HVAC system to continuously circulate fresh air.

CONTENT ADVISORY: Aurora Theatre recognizes each patron’s need to make informed decisions about what is appropriate for them and their family. We do not presume that every show is well-suited for every person, and it is in that spirit we share the following content considerations. This play contains discussions about hardened hearts, regret, redemption, and hope for all mankind.
