July 9 and 10, 2022

Join us as we once again invite the public to tour the elegant new Lawrenceville Arts Center (LAC).

Front of House Tours

Groups will be led by an expert tour guide to see the 3 newest performances venues on the LAC campus. You will be introduced to the Bartow & Leslie Morgan Cabaret, Lawrenceville Arts Center Courtyard and the spectacular Clyde & Sandra Strickland Grand Stage Theatre. Also included on your tour will be breathtaking views of the Historic Lawrenceville Courthouse and Downtown Square from the Peach State Federal Credit Union Grand Lobby. Docents will provide guests with facts and information about the expansion project and community impact of this full city-block of arts and community engagement spaces. The possibilities are endless.

Saturday tours start at 10am; Sunday tours start at 1:30pm.

Backstage Tours

This exclusive tour takes visitors behind-the-curtains to experience the inner-workings of our state-of-the-art performance venue. Experience the spaces audiences never get to see as you go down to the trap level to see the Borders Rehearsal Hall, Thurmon Family Costume Shop, and dressing rooms. Visitors will also enjoy a walk on the Clyde & Sandra Strickland Grand Stage, learn about the fly system, and get a birds-eye view from the catwalk.
Guests must be comfortable walking several flights of stairs, and comfortable with heights. Please wear closed-toe shoes.

Saturday tours start at 10:30am; Sunday tours start at 1:45pm.

SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS

  • All guests are required to wear a mask during the event, unless actively eating or drinking.
