Men of Motown (Aug 21)

QUENTIN AVERY BROWN is a multidisciplinary artist and entrepreneur. He was last seen making his Westchester Broadway Theatre debut as Eat Moe in Five Guys Named Moe! He is a recent transplant to NYC from Atlanta and has been seen in Atlanta based shows at the Atlanta Lyric Theatre, True Colors Theatre Company, Legacy Theatre, Alliance Theatre, Aurora Theatre and Six Flags Over Georgia. He’s also performed at regional theatres around the U.S. such as the Alhambra Dinner Theatre, Beef and Boards Dinner Theatre, and Starlight Theatre. Quentin just spent a year and a half touring the country as a backup singer in two tribute shows one for Elton John and the other for Elton John and Billy Joel. As a singer/songwriter you can find his singles “To Be In Love” and “Find Someone to Love” on all music platforms. Additional writing credits include the title song to Sunday’s at Four which premiered at the Atlanta Musical Theatre Festival in 2018 and the Atlanta Black Theatre Festival in 2019. You can find him dancing in Dolly Parton’s Christmas on the Square and A Jazzman’s Blues by Tyler Perry on Netflix and he will be debuting on Apple TV in a recurring Co-Star role in 2023.

DAI'SEAN GARRETT, is a native of Childersburg, Alabama. He’s a two time American Idol auditionee and a one time auditionee of The Voice. His first passion was singing, and then he ventured into acting and fell in love. He’s a graduate of Shelton State Community College, with an AA and The University of Alabama at Birmingham, with a BA in Theatre. Dai’Sean moved to Georgia to further pursue his acting career and joined the Aurora Theatre’s professional Acting Apprentice. He loves theatre, but Film/TV is where his passion lives and he’s excited about what the future holds for him. He sends love to his mother and family. IG:@DaiseanGarrett

STERLING MCCLARY, a graduate of Center of Excellence in Performing Arts Magnet program at Pebblebrook High School, is a bonafide Arts enthusiast, a trained dancer in over 7 various dance styles as well as training vocally and dramatically in commercial and musical theater techniques, granting him the opportunity to perform in various venues in Georgia. After living in Pittsburgh where he studied musical theater and dance at Point Park University he gained the opportunity to share his love and passion of creating and performing in various major theatrical venues and dance studios around the country as well as spending the past three years as a performer for Celebrity and Disney Cruise Lines. From choreography to teaching, to casting and coaching, Sterling has experienced theater at every level and has more often than not been on the right side of quality.

MICHAEL NERO, the New Orleans native is an alumnus of Kennesaw State University, graduating with a BA in Theatre and Performance Studies. He has previously worked with Norwegian Cruise Line, starring in the Warren Carlyle produced Broadway musical After Midnight  as the Host. Previous credits also include Paradis (Patti Wilcox/ Norwegian Cruise Line), Parade (Harrison Long/ Earl Smith Strand Theatre) and Vegas! The Show (Tiger Martina/ Norwegian Cruise Line). He has graced the stage of the Crystal Pistol Music Hall at Six Flags Over Georgia in Because It’s Christmas, Can’t Stop the Feeling and Dead Man’s Party.

KENDRICK TAJ STEPHENS is excited to be reuniting with old friends here in the Lawrenceville Arts Center Courtyard. Taj studied Music Therapy at University of Evansville and Vocal Performance at Columbus State University. Past favorite Atlanta theatre productions include Once On This Island (Jennie T. Anderson Theatre), Rocky Horror Show (Out Front Theatre), Smokey Joe’s Café (Stage Door Players) and Taj has worked for the entertainment departments of Six Flags Over Georgia and Stone Mountain Park. Taj would like to thank Quentin Brown and the IAP production team, his supportive family and friends and his incredibly talented husband, Joe Arnotti.
