You may remember her as the eponymous nanny from Mary Poppins (a role she has played twice at Aurora), or as a wicked stepsister in Cinderella. MARCIE MILLARD (she/her) is thrilled to be back at Aurora where she appeared just a few months ago in Cinderella as the evil Stepmother. Marcie first worked with Aurora Theatre in 2004 when she was cast as Brunhilde in the delightful Das Babecu. She returned to play dreams roles such as Guinevere in Camelot, Madame Thenardier in Les Miserables, and Rosie in Mamma Mia! Marcie has over 60 professional credits in the Atlanta theatre community, she is the recipient of two Suzi Bass Awards, and was voted an Atlanta Fan Favorite. “For Mom and Dad, who introduced me to Mary Poppins as a child. Every minute of this joy is for you. Mad love to AC, Tony, Katie, and David. Endless devotion to the Madcap Villains.” 

MARCELLO AUDINO* (he/him) is thrilled to be returning to Aurora this season! You may remember him as Jean Michel in Cinderella, Davey in Newsies, or Max in Men with Money. TERELYN JONES (she/her) received her BFA-Dance from Howard University. She toured with Broadway Lion King’s choreographer Garth Fagan and was later cast as an aerialist and ensemble dancer for Disney's Tarzan in Stuttgart, Germany. TereLyn performed the lead role as Mary in The Black Nativity for three years and made appearances on popular television series such as TV One's “One Christmas” with Anthony Hamilton and popular programs on VH1 and Lifetime. She has been commissioned to choreograph for universities and musicals for various production companies and was awarded Alumni of the Year at Howard University for her choreography. At Aurora Theatre, she performed in Men with Money and Children of Eden, and is excited to join the cast of Cinderella. To God be the Glory! @Iam_TereLyn 

JONATHAN BRYANT (he/him) is an artist who has worked in the booming entertainment industry in Atlanta for over a decade. He has worked with many celebrities including Kelly Rowland,  Ne-Yo, Trina Braxton, Tichina Arnold, Queen Latifah, and many more. Jonathan is no stranger to Aurora Theatre. He has been in productions of In the Heights and Mamma Mia and recently choreographed the TYA show P.Nokio. He has worked in the booming television/movie industry in Atlanta including television shows such as "The Originals" (CW), "Step Up: Highwater" (Starz), "American Soul" (BET), "Lovecraft Country" (HBO), and movies like "Coming 2 America" (Paramount), "One Week Away" (Netflix) and "Bessie" (HBO). Jonathan owns his own lifestyle business JAYBSMOOVETHEBRAND, that focuses on MOVEMENT, STYLE, and PERSONALITY. JENNA JACKSON MORRIS (she/her) is overjoyed to be back at Aurora and perform in this magical show with such a lovely cast, crew, and creative team! She graduated from Oklahoma City University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in American Dance Pedagogy. JACOB ATTAWAY (he/him)'s dance training began at the Cobb Center of Excellence for the Performing Arts in 2012. Since then he has developed a wide range of dance experience including training at the Nashville Ballet and the Georgia’s Governors Honors Program. In 2019 Jacob graduated from Jacksonville University with a BFA in dance performance. In his time at JU Jacob worked with established names such as Stephanie Martinez, Jennifer Archibald, and Brian and Scott Nicholson. Jacob is currently a company member with Kit Modus Contemporary Ballet Company, along with being a full-time staff member with the Atlanta Dance and Music Academy. Recently, Jacob starred in the Aurora Theatre's production of Song and Dance.

DAVID WELLS (he/him/his) is grateful and excited to be a part of this project! CAMERON SMITH (he/him) is a character actor/singer in Atlanta, GA. He got his BFA in Musical Theatre from Reinhardt University and he’s been spreading his talents across the country ever since. He’s performed with Cleveland Playhouse, Virginia Repertory Theatre, Hampstead Stage Company in New Hampshire to name a few. Working with AppCo is his first opportunity to work with Aurora Theatre and he’s having a lot of fun and extremely grateful and blessed to be working with an excellent group of people. 

JANHAVI SHIVALKAR (she/her) is an actor and stage manager from Atlanta. She recently graduated from Georgia State University and is super excited to be a part of the Aurora AppCo this season. Previous Atlanta credits include: Safety Net (Theatrical Outfit), Bull in a China Shop (Out Front Theatre Company), and Tome (House of Five Productions). 

LUKE BADURA is thrilled to return home to Aurora Theatre having last appeared as male ensemble/swing in Aurora’s production of Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Favorite theater and film credits have included Tyler Hubbard's Dancin' in the Country music video with Terry Crews, Megalopolis with Adam Driver and Francis Ford Coppola coming later in 2023, Shoe Show commercial, Newsies, and Mamma Mia! (Aurora Theatre), Billy Elliot, and Mary Poppins (City Springs). Luke Badura is a professional dancer, artist, choreographer, actor in Atlanta, GA. Luke has danced with many dance companies, ballets, industry shows, cruise ships, and currently works in the film and theater industry and is signed with Xcel Talent Agency! Follow IG: @lukebadura

KRISTIN TALLEY (she/her) is currently a working Atlanta teaching artist, dancer, singer, actor and props designer. In 2019, she graduated from Young Harris College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre and a minor in history. After graduating college, she became a member of the Aurora Theatre’s AppCo’20. During her apprenticeship, Kristin started designing props. She is so thankful to be the resident props designer at the theatre where she started. A few of her recent shows with the Aurora include, The Play That Goes Wrong, Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, Kim’s Convenience, Christmas Canteen ('21, '22), Cinderella, and On Your Feet. She is also a principal dancer in Dolly Parton’s: Christmas on the Square on Netflix. Enjoy the show!

BRIE WOLFE (she/her) recently wrapped up her Aurora debut in Christmas Canteen 2021 and P. Nokio, a Hip Hop Musical, and is ready to dive into Cinderella! A member of the 2021-2022 Apprentice Company, Brie is a recent graduate from the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!), where she earned a B.A. in Theatre and a B.A. in Journalism. Brie has been honored to work with so many incredibly talented and passionate people in this industry and is so excited to be back on the stage! Some of her more recent credits include: Wild Party (Kate), Equus (Jill Mason), and The Two Gentlemen of Verona (Julia). Brie would like to thank her friends and family, especially her dad, Elmer, for his unwavering support and love, and Garrett and Gus for being her rock.

ANTHONY RODRIGUEZ (he/him) a career non-profit leader, is proud to be the first Executive Director of the Hub404 Conservancy. HUB404 is an innovative 9-acre “cap park” that will soar above GA 400 and provide a direct connection to MARTA’s Buckhead rail station. HUB404 will create a dynamic, active, gathering place for the Metro-Atlanta region and transform the core of Buckhead. Prior to joining HUB404, Anthony was President and CEO of Aurora Theatre, a professional theatre he co-founded 26 years ago. He currently serves on various boards, both nationally and locally, including Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, National Alliance for Musical Theatre (Vice President), Theatre Communications Group, the Citizens Advisory Board for Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful, and the Advisory Board for Public Broadcasting Atlanta which includes the NPR station WABE and PBS station PBA30. Anthony is a past Chair of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, the first Latino and first Arts Leader to hold that position. He served as Vice Chair of Arts for the Chamber and Chair of Partnership Gwinnett and serves on the National Steering Committee for the Latinx Theatre Commons. Anthony is a graduate of the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Regional Leadership Institute, Leadership Atlanta (#2classes) and the National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures’ Leadership Institute and Advocacy Institute. Anthony, born in New York, and raised in Atlanta, graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre. He resides in Duluth with his partner in life, Ann-Carol Pence, and their dog Bella.

ANN-CAROL PENCE (Co-Founder/Producing Artistic Director) arranged the music for Aurora’s first Christmas Canteen in 1996 and was hired full-time in September of 1998 as Resident Musical Director. An education major at James Madison University, she used her background to develop Learning Library (or L2). As a musician, she created Aurora’s Musicals by Moonlight, and Aurora’s New Musical Initiative. She has performed as pianist and music director both nationally (Goodspeed Opera House, Pasadena Playhouse, The Cleveland Playhouse, The Kennedy Center) and locally (The Alliance, Theatrical Outfit, The Horizon, Georgia Ensemble Theatre,). As a proud citizen of Gwinnett, Ann-Carol is most proud of Aurora Theatre winning the first ever Pinnacle Award for Large Non-Profit, and the first ever Moxie Award (for woman-led businesses) for Aurora Theatre. These distinctions go well with her 5 Suzi Awards for Outstanding Music Direction. She was a participant in the 2016 Atlanta Regional Leadership Institute and member of the “Best Class Ever!”

RICARDO APONTE (he/him) is delighted to return to the Aurora after choreographing Newsies and In The Heights, where he received Suzi Bass awards for Outstanding Choreography. Recent credits: Carmen (Atlanta Opera), White Christmas (Jennie T. Anderson), and Luisa Fernanda (Florentine Opera). He's had the pleasure of working locally at The Atlanta Opera, The Alliance Theatre, Theatrical Outfit, Aurora Theatre, Georgia Ensemble, Actor’s Express, Atlanta Lyric, and Georgia Aquarium. He’s also the founder and artistic director of Theatre Platform Project, an educational nonprofit which provides arts programs to diverse communities (Theatreplatformproject.org) Upcoming projects: Cabaret at The Atlanta Opera! KATIE ERIN CHAMBERS* (Director of Production and Resident Stage Manager) is excited to be starting her 8th season with Aurora Theatre and stepping into a new role as Director of Production. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia, a member of Actor’s Equity, and a proud alumna of Aurora's 2013-14 Apprentice Company. She has previously stage managed in Atlanta for Horizon Theatre Company, Theatrical Outfit, Synchronicity Theatre and Habima Theatre. She has also served as coordinator for the New South Young Playwrights’ Festival, production manager for the Atlanta Musical Theatre Festival, and coordinator for the Atlanta Unified Auditions.

KAT CONLEY (she/her) is ecstatic to be returning to the Aurora Theatre .  Based in Atlanta, Kat has designed scenery for The Kennedy Center, The Alliance Theatre, Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre, Marin Theatre Company, Georgia Shakespeare, Orlando Shakespeare, Virginia Stage, The Atlanta Ballet, Actor’s Express, The Center for Puppetry Arts, 7 Stages, Theatrical Outfit, Theatre in the Square, among others. She is an Associate Artist with both Georgia Shakespeare and Actor’s Express. Kat is also the Charge Scenic Artist for the Alliance Theatre. ISAAC BURRIER (he/him) is excited to have joined Aurora Theatre as their Head of Lighting. Isaac has worked on numerous shows with Aurora including Christmas Canteen, Mary Poppins (2022), Swindlers, and several others as the Master Electrician. Before working with Aurora, Isaac worked in Nashville, TN as a lighting and scenic designer as well as a lighting tech in Raleigh, NC. Some of his professional credits include: Ordinary Days (Georgia Gwinnett College), Giant Squid (Woven Theatre Company), Lungs (Woven Theatre Company), The Whale (Verge Theater Company), Beneatha’s Place (Verge Theater Company) and several dance recitals with Rejoice School of Ballet. Isaac is also a graduate of Belmont University with a BFA in Production Design in Theatre.

ALAN YEONG** (he/him) has designed over 20 productions for Aurora. Recent Regional credits include Seattle Children's Theatre/Alliance Theatre -- The Boy Who Kissed The Sky. He's worked with theatres all over Atlanta and is a Professor of Costume Design/Head of Design at the University of West Georgia Theatre program with over 20 years of design credits. ALICE NEFF (she/her) joined the resident staff at the Aurora in 2022. Previously, she was the shop manager for Cinderella, Swindlers, and Christmas Canteen 2021, and was a draper for On Your Feet, Men with Money, and Mamma Mia, and designed Mary Poppins, Erma Bombeck: At Wit’s End, and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, a co-production with Horizon Theatre. She was the shop manager for the Theatre & Dance Department at Appalachian State for many years, and was a draper at Glimmerglass Opera and a stitcher for the Hallmark mini-series True Women. She has designed for Florida Repertory Theatre in Fort Myers, and for Lees McRae Summer Theatre, Blowing Rock Stage Company, and Horn in the West in NC, along with numerous schools in the southeast.

JENNIFER ACKLAND (Costume Shop Manager) is happy to be back at the Aurora Theatre. She was previously Costume Shop Manager and Draper for the 2014 production of Newsies and Mary Poppins at Aurora. Most recently she served as Costume Shop Supervisor at Appalachian State University in Boone NC. Other notable Costume Shop Supervisor positions include Wake Forest University, Festival Stage of Winston-Salem, and The North Carolina Shakespeare Festival where she spent almost ten years as Assistant Shop Manager and then promoted to Costume Director in 2009 until its closing in 2014. She would like to thank her family for all that they do and a big thanks to Dave McKay and Christina Cotner for helping with a smooth transition to Georgia.

EMILY GRACE BLACKSTONE (she/her) is excited to be back with Aurora for another season. Her previous shows at Aurora include The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Men with Money, and & Newsies. She has also worked with the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta as well as Arena Stage and the Shakespeare Theater in Washington, DC. She thanks her family and Patty for all their support.

LILLY BAXLEY (she/her) is a Georgia native and has been stage managing in Atlanta for seven years. She worked primarily as the Resident Assistant Stage Manager at the Shakespeare Tavern Playhouse, some of her favorites being Much Ado About Nothing, Comedy of Errors, and Love's Labour's Lost. 

MARSHALL LEE SMITH, JUNIOR (he/him) is excited to make his Aurora debut. Acting Credits: 9 to 5 and Heathers (Onstage Atlanta); Finding You in the Midst of It All (Sanford Porter Theater); A Mother’s Prayer (Theatrical Outfit). Virginia acting credits: Big River (Alluvion Stage Company). BBA in Finance from Kennesaw State University. Marshall would like to thank his girlfriend, family & friends for supporting the arts. KATIE PELKEY (Managing Director) is celebrating twelve seasons with Aurora! In 2013, Katie transitioned to the role of Company Manager, having previously served as Resident Stage Manager. She also created the highly-successful Stage Management and Costume Apprentice programs that operates simultaneously with Aurora’s Acting Apprentice Company program. For five seasons, she worked as Aurora’s Educational Resources Associate developing educational curriculum for teachers to use in conjunction with Aurora’s TYA Learning Library offerings. And for over a decade, Katie served as Production Stage Manager for New Plays for Young Audiences, a prestigious TYA summer staged reading series based at New York University. She received her BA in Educational Theatre from New York University with a minor in Dramatic Literature. Many thanks to Michael, Maxwell, and Alexander for their love and support!

KATIE ERIN CHAMBERS* (Director of Production and Resident Stage Manager) is excited to be starting her 8th season with Aurora Theatre and stepping into a new role as Director of Production. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia, a member of Actor’s Equity, and a proud alumna of Aurora's 2013-14 Apprentice Company. She has previously stage managed in Atlanta for Horizon Theatre Company, Theatrical Outfit, Synchronicity Theatre and Habima Theatre. She has also served as coordinator for the New South Young Playwrights’ Festival, production manager for the Atlanta Musical Theatre Festival, and coordinator for the Atlanta Unified Auditions.

DANIEL POPE (Production Manager) is proud to be joining the great team at Aurora Theatre as Production Manager. Daniel has been a sound designer and engineer in the Atlanta area for the past seven years. He’s had the pleasure of designing sound for the Aurora Theatre on many occasions on shows such as: Into the Woods, Christmas Canteen, Sweep, and most recently The Bridges of Madison County. Additionally, he’s worked on countless other productions in the Atlanta theatre community including: Evita and A Streetcar Named Desire as Sound Designer and Production Manager at Serenbe Playhouse. Daniel received a Bachelors in Marketing with a specialization in sales and a minor in Music from The University of West Georgia in 2010.

JON SANDMAIER (he/him) is excited to return to the Aurora, the place he called home for his first four years in the state of Georgia.  He originally hails from Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he designed and built sets for a variety of venues and organizations around the area.  Over the past year he has been working in the television and film industry.  One of Jon's favorite projects was building the boat for Men With Money.

RJ thinks bios are weird, but also is unsure how weird normal is yet....hence the bio. When not playing pretend  philosopher, RJ can be found extracting humor from life, and marveling at the interconnectedness; involved in the daily spectrum of mundane to exciting moments and experiences.

Kymberli (she/her) is an actor from Atlanta. She was most recently seen on tour with Georgia Ensemble Theatre (Dragons Love Tacos, She Persisted: The Musical). She completed AppCo 22 and has been featured in Aurora productions such as Reindeer Games 2022, Feeding Beatrice, and Christmas Canteen 2021. She also portrayed Soraya in the award winning Atlanta Fringe production of Sister, Braid My Hair. After a successful Shrek! Bringing Down the House class this spring, she has high hopes for this upcoming session.
