Unfortunately we are not sure when that will be, but when we do – we will let you know. If you have tickets, you will get an email that will cover your options. LOBBY ART EXHIBIT: Isaac Alcantar & Reinaldo Vargas

Isaac Alcantar trained extensively with Kudzu Art Zone’s David Raderstorf. Isaac has shown his work in 25 juried exhibitions, including the Kudzu Open Exhibit, the Georgia Watercolor Society Member Exhibition and he received an invitation from the Mexican Consulate for a solo exhibition. “Art reflects my surroundings, culture, and thoughts. It is an adventure of discovery that takes me on a journey of exposure using color, texture and subject. Art allows me to express feeling, including one stimulated by living in a new culture.” https://fineartamerica.com/profiles/isaac-alcantar

Reinaldo Vargas graduated from the Academy of Arts San Alejandro, the oldest and most prestigious fine arts school in Cuba. In 1993, he decided to immigrate to Europe and expand his artistic ambitions.  After four years living in Paris, France, he decided to move to the United States and currently resides in Atlanta. “My artwork is not driven by any theory or concept, but, by the expression of the gestural inspiration that is found everywhere. I like layers, lines, and colors to be in harmony with the visual forms of chaos, which surprisingly, lead to an apparent tranquility.” https://renyvargas.wixsite.com/reyvargas

CONTENT ADVISORY: Aurora Theatre recognizes each patron’s need to make informed decisions about what is appropriate for them and their family. We do not presume that every show is well-suited for every person, and it is in that spirit we share the following content considerations. This family-centric musical contains discussions about immigration, racism, and a whole lot of salsa-infused rhythm.
