Free Play Day

What is “Free PLAY Day?”

Jaclyn Hofmann, Director of Education

Jaclyn Hofmann,
Director of Education

As Director of Education, I’m always asking myself, “How can we give back more to the community?” So, after discussion with Anthony Rodriguez and Ann-Carol Pence about giving back to a community which has done so much for us, we’ve come up with a “Free PLAY Day” for those students whose families simply cannot afford it.

This will be a one day FREE Acting workshop and will be 100% volunteer run! All teaching artists, teaching assistants and administrators will be donating their time in order to reach out to children who aren’t usually afforded the opportunity to participate in the arts. Our teaching staff are some of Atlanta’s finest Professional Actors (seen on stage and screen)! Throughout the day students will be introduced to Improvisation, Shakespeare and Acting Technique through various theatre games and exercises.

Saturday, March 14 from 11:30am-4pm
(Our Volunteer Guild will be providing lunch)
