Learning Library- Goosebumps

Book & Lyrics by John Maclay
Music & Lyrics by Danny Abosch
Adapted from Goosebumps®: Phantom of the Auditorium by R. L. Stine

Directed by Jaclyn Hofmann
Musical Direction by Ann-Carol Pence
Choreography by Jen MacQueen

Strange things are disrupting rehearsals of the Woods Mill Middle School musical, which is rumored to be cursed. The school is buzzing as students wonder if these interruptions are coincidence, some kind of joke, or the curse of The Phantom for real. Undeterred, Ms. Walker has the perfect stars for her show in students Brooke and Zeke. Enjoy this silly and (only a little) spooky adventure that will keep the students in suspense until the final bow.

90S NIGHT

For many parents of young children, Goosebumps™—and especially the TV series that aired from 1995-98—is a throwback to their childhood. Now parents can relive their youth and introduce the next generation of fans to Goosebumps and other 90’s favorites at this nostalgic night of family fun. The concession stand will feature Gushers and other treats from the 1990’s. Our pre-show music will be a playlist of the best of the decade. So dig deep into your closet and break out those overalls, scrunchies, 8-ball jackets, grunge flannel and skate gear, as those dressed in their 90’s finest will win fun prizes like slap bracelets.

COOKIE RECEPTION WITH ONE
OF THE MUSICAL’S CREATORS!

Before the 2:30pm performance on Sunday, October 22 meet one of the talented team that adapted R.L. Stine’s bestselling classic Goosebumps: The Phantom of the Auditorium into the stage musical produced by Aurora Theatre. Get your program signed by one of the musical’s creators, ask questions of what was like to take the novel from page-to-stage, and enjoy a cookie.
